Luxury Residences

It’s been a busy few months at The Strand site in Cooper Jack, and we ended 2022 feeling satisfied with the incredible strides we’ve made with construction since our groundbreaking less than a year ago.

Just a few weeks into 2023, Luxury R3’s Kohler plumbing fixtures are being installed in the main house, and the bathroom’s tiling and microcement is finished. Interior painting and lighting are also completed. Luxury R2 decking for the roof slab and rebar is ongoing, and the garage is up to the underside of the roof slab.

Meanwhile, Luxury R7’s main house slabs over balconies and eyebrows are poured, while the lower level of the main house roof will be poured later this week. The family room slab is also poured, and blockwork is going up to roof level.

We have plans this week to pour the spa/courtyard pool, Luxury R1’s second floor slab and upstand beams. Blockwork is ongoing up to the roof level, the garage slab is poured, and the blockwork up to second level slab for the casita is also complete.

Villas

Over at The Villas, Villa A Building precast stairs have been installed up to the first landing as installation continues. We are currently working on units A5-A3’s ground floor slabs, and Villa B Building’s pool structures will be completed by the end of the week. Units B6 to B8 stairwell bases are also poured, while the stairwell blockwork and columns are ongoing.

In other exciting news, excavation is complete for the Strand Kitchen. The first of its kind in Provo, our kitchen will have a living green roof so it blends in with the native vegetation above. But we didn’t stop there—the dining experience at the Strand will also be the first of its kind in TCI, with your table on the ironshore edge overlooking a sugar sand beach and the Caicos Banks beyond.

Alongside the construction of Building B, we will begin excavating the Main Pool area. A combination of Old World stone walls, lush greenery, and your own loungers tucked into the limestone will give you the feeling that you have found your own Caribbean lagoon.

Construction on the Reception Building has also begun, retaining walls for the Main Parking and Reception are complete, and the Guard House is underway. Our Beach groyne is under construction, and we are hoping to start construction on the Kitchen and the Main Pool by the end of this month.

Our gym designer has given us a proposed functional fitness design that we can’t wait for you to see. The equipment is a balance between the latest technology and the exercise trends we are seeing globally. We are departing from the stereotypical hotel gym equipment and instead incorporating “trainer lead” spaces with traditional cardio, strength training, and high/low intensity functional movement.
