Luxury Residences
There is construction everywhere you look in Cooper Jack Bay, and our Luxury Residences are making excellent progress. Luxury R1’s main pool and ground floor slab are complete, while Luxury R2’s second floor slab is also finished with block work going vertical for both homes.
Luxury R7 is not far behind, with its ground floor slab poured, vertical walls finished, and decking for the second floor slab being placed.
Meanwhile, Luxury R3 is on schedule to be complete Spring 2023, with all windows and doors installed, and interior walls complete. We are beginning to tile the bathrooms and applying the micro cement to the walls. All exterior work is ongoing as we prep for our solar panels to arrive and landscaping to go in.
Villas
Villa A’s retaining walls are complete. The Villa pools are also poured, and we are currently pouring the stairwells and installing the stairs that will connect each unit to their oceanfront lock offs. The ground floor slab pour will follow soon after.
Construction on Villa B started on Oct. 17, and we are now excavating all the pools. With a choice between two or three bedrooms, as well as our classic or upgraded floor plan, our Villas have something for everyone.
Odds and Ends
As for the rest of The Strand property, we’re excited to share that the Clubhouse has been excavated, and the entry and main parking retaining walls are complete. We will finish paving the The Strand entrance this month, connecting it to Seaview Close and just past our Storage Building area. Following this, we will pave the final section of Cooper Jack Road.
In October, I traveled with our Interior Designer Francisco Jove and Marketing Director Marcela de la Mar to Guadalajara, Mexico, to source the highest quality custom pieces for our resort and your homes. We can’t wait to share with you what we’ve found.
The Strand Community
At the beginning of October, our team gathered on International Coastal Clean-Up Day to remove trash and debris from the green space at the end of Cooper Jack Bay. Our small team of four employees gathered 400 pounds of trash from the coastline, bush and roadside. The Department of Coastal Resources organized this countrywide initiative that we hope will be an annual event. The Strand was happy to do our part for our community in keeping our bay “Beautiful by Nature.”
