Introducing Frits & Jenny Hannenberg
We’re so pleased to welcome the newest members to The Strand team: Frits and Jenny Hannenberg.
This hospitality powerhouse duo will serve as our General Manager and Hospitality Manager at The Strand, which will be fully operational by Fall of 2024.
Frits and Jenny each have more than 20 years of experience in luxury hospitality. Most recently, Frits was the Managing Director of The Abaco Club on Winding Bay in the Bahamas and was the opening General Manager for The Shore Club. Together the couple have brought their hospitality expertise to luxury private islands including Fregate Island in the Seychelles and Mustique Island in St. Vincent.
We’re beyond thrilled for Frits and Jenny to join our team, bringing with them invaluable experience to ensure The Strand is one of the top luxury residential resort communities in the region.
First Home Delivered!
It’s been a huge month for The Strand as we delivered our first home to its new family. What a gratifying experience to be able to welcome our clients home for the first time. Fortunately, we’ll have more homecomings in the near future with three more villas nearing completion by the end of the year.
We’re celebrating a phenomenal year with record sales for The Strand, and we can’t wait to see what 2024 brings.
“With the first residences recently completing at The Strand and construction progress well underway across the Villas and site, the introduction of a limited selection of new Signature Residences starting at $6.5 million, our team is anticipating an active selling season with great remaining, albeit rapidly shrinking inventory,” says Nina Siegenthaler, Vice President of Turks & Caicos Sotheby’s International Realty.
The Perfect Puppy in Turks & Caicos
Did you know The Strand is one of the few pet-friendly luxury resort communities on Providenciales? It’s a good thing, too, with our island being home to so many adorable puppies known as potcakes—the local island dog breed known as much for their friendly personalities as they are for their long faces and floppy ears.
Local nonprofit Potcake Place works to rescue, rehabilitate and adopt out these loving dogs to families in Turks and Caicos and around the world. Their work includes a daily walking program that allows visitors to take a puppy out for a morning walk on the beach to help socialize the pups. And this rescue center is only a 15-minute drive from The Strand.
