The Stand breaks ground -Developer promises ‘ultra luxurious’ resort, ‘careers’ for employees
Construction has begun on The Strand – a new residential resort community of luxury oceanfront residences and marinas. Last Friday, March 25, government officials and industry stakeholders gathered at the Cooper Jack Bay construction site to take part in the celebrations, while sharing their vision of how the development will further enhance the landscape of the Turks and Caicos Islands’ luxury offerings. John Fair, Managing Director, Developer and Project Manager of The Strand is a longtime developer in the TCI, having first opened The Villas at Gracebay Club 19 years ago. “Today we celebrate the beginning of The Strand where we endeavour to create another iconic resort that will be beautiful the day it’s completed and even more beautiful 50 years from now. “For me, this is my legacy project and The Strand is being developed to compete with the finest ultra luxury residential resorts in North America,” Fair told the gathering.
