John Fair

Managing Director, Developer and Project Manager

John Fair is the visionary developer behind internationally renowned resorts in North America and the Caribbean, including Turks and Caicos’ legendary Grace Bay Club and the Esperanza Resort in Cabo San Lucas and currently the ultra-luxury residential resorts The Strand in Turks and Caicos and Na Hiku at Kukui’ula in Kauai. Over the past three and a half decades, he has also invested in, developed, and managed more than 1,000 residential units, thousands of acres of land development, three million square feet of industrial space, and multiple master-planned communities. The common theme throughout his career and varied types of real estate development is creating value through creative vision, hands-on execution, and a passion for excellence. When he’s not pouring his heart and soul into creating world-class experiential real estate, John pursues his passion for golf, fly fishing, deep-sea fishing, and boating in Turks and Caicos and the Sea of Cortez.

Chad Brue founded Brue Capital Partners in 2011 as a private equity real estate investment firm to acquire commercial real estate, multi-family properties and operating businesses. Since then, the firm has acquired and developed more than $1.1 billion in real estate assets. Geoff Baukol joined the firm in 2016, now Brue Baukol Capital Partners, providing additional investment expertise and strong relationships with institutional investors.

As Brue Baukol’s CEO and Founder, Chad is involved in all areas of the company. On top of overall management of the firm, he assesses new opportunities, is responsible for new and existing capital relationships and manages the firm's strategic business initiatives.

Chad’s 20 years of experience in the real estate industry include personally transacting over $1 billion in commercial real estate sales and overseeing 350 commercial real estate brokers as the Senior Managing Director of CBRE’s National Private Capital Group (“PCG”). Honors include being named NAIOP’s 2016 Trailblazer of the Year, consistently being named a top 10 producer at CBRE in Colorado, receiving CBRE’s “National PCG Team of the Year,” and CBRE’s “National PCG Broker of the Year.”

Geoff Baukol

Managing Director

As BBCP’s President and Partner, Geoff leverages his extensive network of relationships in the real estate community to create new opportunities for the company. He is also responsible for new and existing joint venture partner relationships, as well as setting the direction and corporate strategy of the firm.

Prior to joining the Brue Baukol in 2016 as a Partner, Geoff was head of CBRE’s Denver Institutional Properties Group. Geoff has over 17 years of investment sales experience and has been involved in the sale of over $3 billion of commercial real estate investment in Colorado. In both 2015 and 2016, he was the NAIOP Investment Broker of the year and was consistently a top performer in the Denver CBRE office as well as one of the top CBRE professionals nationally. Geoff has been recognized by CBRE as a Top Producer in the Americas, recipient of CBRE’s Colbert Coldwell Circle Award (Top 100 Professionals in the US), and winner of the prestigious CBRE “RISE” Award (Respect, Integrity, Service, Excellence).

Sophie Tidrick

Vice-President & Development Director

Born and raised in Turks and Caicos, Sophie brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to The Strand on Cooper Jack, a beach where she once played as a child. As a former Project Manager for custom luxury homes in South Florida’s most exclusive neighborhoods, Sophie is well-versed in guiding clients through the home building process. She has a Masters of Science (Honors) degree in Environment and International Development and brings a decade of experience to The Strand, drawing upon her background in sustainable development and corporate social responsibility to inform our sustainability initiatives. Her love of Turks and Caicos influences everything she does for The Strand, with the goal of bringing to life an innovative community of luxury homes with a sustainable low-impact footprint. She is thrilled to be working on one of the most exciting new developments in Providenciales and creating something truly one-of-a-kind for our clients and our community.
