Indemnity Clause

All activities, including but not limited to using the gym, swimming pools, wellness programs, and other lessons or classes, as well as land and water activities (both motorized and non-motorized) arranged for me by The Strand Turks and Caicos, their affiliates, directors, officers, and employees and/or agents, and their respective corporate partners (direct or indirect), subsidiaries (direct and indirect), affiliates, directors, officers, and employees and/or agents, are personally being assumed myself. I acknowledge and agree that The Strand Turks and Caicos has no control over third-party service providers (such as independent instructors, water sports institutions, and transportation service companies) that may be involved in the activities or excursions availed during my stay. I recognize that activities involve a degree of risk wherein my participation in them, and that of my minor children (if applicable) and registered companions, is wholly voluntary and optional and I acknowledge the assumption of such risks. I will not hold The Strand Turks and Caicos liable for any incident regarding possible food-borne illness from self-cooked food inside the accommodations, food taken out from the restaurant and/or food consumption from external sources. All firepit and BBQ equipment have been checked and are in good working condition prior to guest arrival. The resort is not responsible for any damages or malfunction occurring after check-in. With the presence of the in accommodation safety deposit boxes, The Strand Turks and Caicos assumes no responsibility for loss of money, jewels, or other valuables. In accordance with Turks & Caicos smoke-free regulations, smoking inside any accommodation is strictly prohibited, and any violation will result in a mandatory USD $300 cleaning fee in addition to any penalties that may be imposed under local law.

I acknowledge the privacy of each guest, members and owners by not flying drones within the premises of the property. if applicable. I give complete authorization to the company to gather, record, organize, store, update, use, consolidate, block, eliminate, or process personal, sensitive, or private information related to this reservation and its transactions.

I herewith authorize The Strand Turks and Caicos to process all charges incurred during the stay to the credit card I presented at time of reservation and/or check-in if I do not observe the check-out formalities at the front desk. The standard check-out time is 11:00am. Any departure beyond 11:00am up to 4:00pm is subject to availability and a 50% room rate charge. I agree that my liability for any bill or financial obligation is not waived and agree to be held personally liable if the indicated person(s), company or association fails to pay for any part or the full amount of these charges.
