Frits is responsible for the daily management at The Strand and the wellbeing of club members and guests. He brings a distinguished 20+ year career to the organization, marked by implementing innovative bespoke guest experiences, leading to sustainable contributions at top-line revenue and bottom-line result, all sparked by continuous people and process improvement.
As a leader in opening and positioning ultra-luxury resorts and private islands, Frits has a distinctive linking-pin ability in translating processes between the financial and operational implementation of standards. Being exposed to so many global and multicultural environments, his management style is human-focused, approachable, flexible, organized and strongly solution oriented. He has led large teams of property managers, introduced brand standards and delivered the highest level of service to (UHNWI) guests and private owners.
Frits is multilingual with an optimistic and dynamic outlook, detail driven and ambitious. Previously, he led Frégate Island Private in the Seychelles, Mustique Island in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, The Shore Club on Turks and Caicos, the flagship of LUX* Resorts in Mauritius and most recently he was the Managing Director of The Abaco Club on Winding Bay in the Bahamas.
