Construction Update – April 2023

The Villas
Building A’s ground floor slab is complete. The second-floor slab is 50 percent complete, with blockwork and columns ongoing. The blockwork and columns are also ongoing up to the third-floor level on units A4 and A5. Stairwells are ongoing for all units. 

Building B’s ground floor slab is complete on units B8 and B7. The ground floor slab is 33 percent complete on unit B6. Prep work for the next ground floor pour is ongoing. Blockwork and columns will start on the Eastern units. The stairwell ground floor slabs are complete on all units, and stairwell structures are ongoing.

Luxury Residences
R1’s structure is complete. The pool base for the spa is poured, and walls are being formed. 

The internal render for Luxury R2 is complete. The external render is ongoing. The staircase is installed, and ceiling insulation is complete. The stud work for ceilings is close to completion, and drywall will start next week. The A/C unit and ductwork is installed. Installation of doors and windows has begun. 

The internal tile installation for R3 is complete. Assembly and installation of millwork is ongoing. Painting is scheduled for next week. Pergolas are being installed. External stone work is very close to completion. Paving for terraces and footpaths is scheduled for next week. Kerbs for the garage entrance are ongoing. Water heaters have been installed. Pool finishes are ongoing. The fire pit will be built next week. Outdoor showers are in progress. 

R7’s structure is complete. The internal rendering has begun and exterior render will continue. A/C units are being installed. The staircase will be installed next week. Internal block walls are complete and all other internal work will continue in sequence.

The Strand Community
The Security Hut’s structure is complete with render at 50 percent. Doors and windows are on-site and will be installed once the render has been completed. The Reception/Clubhouse ground floor slab has been poured; blockwork and columns to the underside of the roof slab are ongoing.
